Copy the Instagram Link
Open the post, Reel, or video on Instagram. Tap the three-dot menu at the top right of the post and select Copy Link. On desktop, right-click and choose Copy Link from the post options.
Paste any public Instagram link - a Reel, feed video, or Story - and save it to your device in HD quality. No Instagram login, no account creation, completely free.
How It Works
Open the post, Reel, or video on Instagram. Tap the three-dot menu at the top right of the post and select Copy Link. On desktop, right-click and choose Copy Link from the post options.
Return to this page, tap the Paste button, and click Get Download Links. YTPro processes the link and fetches the available video formats within seconds.
Click Download next to your preferred option. The video saves to your phone's gallery or your computer's downloads folder depending on which device you're using.
Key Features
Reels are the most searched Instagram download type. Paste a Reel link and get the full vertical video in HD without any overlay or restriction.
Instagram Stories vanish after 24 hours. Downloading a public Story through YTPro means you keep a permanent copy even after it disappears from the platform.
IGTV content and longer feed videos are supported too, not just short Reels. Download interviews, tutorials, and series episodes you want to watch offline.
No re-encoding or quality reduction. You get the video at the quality Instagram stored it, typically 1080p for recent posts.
You don't have to connect your Instagram account. Public posts are accessible without authentication - just the link and a click.
iPhone, Android, Mac, Windows - it doesn't matter. Open the page in any browser and you're ready to start downloading Instagram videos.

Instagram has become one of the biggest platforms for short-form video content, with Reels in particular pulling in billions of views every day. Whether it's a fitness routine you want to follow offline, a cooking Reel you want to watch without burning data, or travel content that inspired a trip you're planning, saving Instagram videos has become something a lot of people need to do regularly.
Instagram does give you the option to save posts to Collections within the app, but that keeps the content inside the platform. It doesn't let you actually download the file to your device for offline use outside of Instagram. That's what YTPro is for.
Reels are vertical short videos up to 90 seconds long. They're the most commonly downloaded type of Instagram content. To get the link, tap the three-dot menu on a Reel and tap Copy Link.
Regular video posts in the Instagram feed - including older IGTV-format content that has been integrated into the main feed - are also supported. These are often longer and higher resolution.
Public Stories can be downloaded before or after they expire from a profile's 24-hour Story section. Once a Story is gone from Instagram, it's no longer accessible through any tool, so download before the deadline if it's something you want to keep.

Instagram stores videos in compressed formats. Most Reels and recent feed videos are available at 1080p, though older posts or videos from users with lower upload quality might be lower resolution. YTPro always fetches the highest quality version that Instagram makes available for each specific post.
One thing worth knowing: Instagram re-encodes video when you upload it. So a Reel you shot in 4K on your iPhone will be stored and served by Instagram at a lower resolution. What you download through YTPro is the best version Instagram has, not the original camera file.
If you've posted Reels or videos and want to keep a download-quality backup outside of Instagram, that's a perfectly reasonable use case. Your own public posts can be downloaded through YTPro the same way as any other public content.
Alternatively, Instagram's official data export feature (under Settings, Account, Download Your Data) gives you all your content in original quality - useful if you need a bulk export rather than individual downloads.
YTPro does not store the URLs you paste or the videos you access. The tool fetches download links and delivers them to your browser. Nothing is retained on our side. Private Instagram accounts cannot be accessed through this tool under any circumstances.
If you need to save videos from other platforms too, our TikTok downloader, Facebook video downloader, and YouTube downloader work the same way and are just as fast.
Whether you're saving a Reel from a creator you follow, archiving a Story before it disappears, or keeping a backup of a video you posted yourself, YTPro makes the process straightforward. Paste the link, click download, and the video is on your device. No Instagram account, no browser extension, no steps you don't need.
Questions Answered
On the Instagram app, open the Reel, tap the three-dot menu, and select Copy Link. Paste that URL into the input field above, click Get Download Links, and then tap Download next to the format you want.
Yes, for public accounts. Copy the link from the Story, paste it into YTPro, and download before the 24-hour window closes. Once a Story expires from Instagram, it can no longer be accessed by anyone outside the account owner.
Private Instagram accounts restrict their content to approved followers. YTPro only accesses publicly available content, which is how it should work. Private posts cannot be downloaded through any external service without account access.
Open the post in the Instagram app, tap the three dots at the top right of the post, and choose Copy Link from the menu. That URL is what you paste into YTPro.
Yes. YTPro supports Instagram Reels, regular feed video posts, and IGTV content. The process is the same for all three - copy the link and paste it here.
Quality depends on what Instagram stored for that specific video. Most current Reels and feed posts are served at 1080p. YTPro always retrieves the highest quality version available for the link you provide.
Downloading for personal offline viewing of public content is generally tolerated, though Instagram's Terms of Service do technically restrict it. Reposting or commercially using someone else's content without permission can infringe on their copyright.
